Retail Fraud Prevention
Retail Fraud Prevention is an interactive program focused on eliminating the habitual and self-defeating
behaviors associated with retail fraud and economic crimes. This course defines Retail Fraud in various
degrees, the triggers, influences and negative relationships often associated with them. Through active
learning, participants are taught how to eliminate these behaviors by reducing temptations, utilizing coping
skills and becoming aware of the long term consequences. Often times these behaviors are associated with
financial concerns, depression, drug and alcohol use, destructive relationships and loss. Throughout this
course, participants address each of those concerns on a personal level.
Participants in the Retail Fraud Prevention course experience a positive self help environment complete with a goal statement requirement. Participants also receive a recommendation for any further resources they may need as well as a follow up within 30 days of completion.
